Country Cabin with Mountain Views
The Cabin at Quarry Hill Farm is nestled beneath two huge walnut trees and was recently remodeled. Quality linens and furnishings ensure a comfortable stay. Bright & sunny in the morning, yet cool and shady during the hot summer afternoons, it is perfect for two with a comfortable sofa bed for a third person or child. There is a fully equipped kitchen complete with welcome basket, stylish living and sleeping areas and a full size bathroom with a tub and shower. Fresh flowers from the garden and hand made local chocolates await your arrival and with a little notice chilled champagne can be arranged.
Situated on 24 rolling acres with mature trees and gardens, the Cabin has its own large private yard, picnic table, deck, patio and BBQ area where you can relax and take in the natural beauty of this little piece of heaven and its unrivalled views (see guest comments.)
The
Western themed
Bunkhouse.
Approximately 300 ft. from the cabin, the Bunkhouse has a full size bed,
well equipped kitchenette, dining area, ceiling fan and outdoor shower
and composting toilet. Outside there is a picnic bench and
hammock. The Teepee is ideal for the outdoor adventurous types, it is well
furnished with a romantic queen sized bed and fine linens and has a definite
'on safari' ambience right here in the Rogue Valley! At 18ft in diameter
it is large and comfortable for two with a child's futon for the young
family. Outside is a private solar shower and porta-loo. Please
note that
the bunkhouse and teepee are only available June - Sept and in conjunction
with the cabin rental. For your privacy we accommodate only one group,
couple or individual at any one time. Maximum occupancy 7-8 persons.
The farm is located on a hill and even in high summer, there is often a gentle breeze. Wake to the sounds of nature and the beautiful views of the Cascade Mountains.
We are in a convenient rural location in the west hills of the Rogue Valley, between Ashland and Jacksonville. Talent is a short drive away, where you may stock up on groceries. It is approximately 12 minutes to downtown Ashland and its world-class Oregon Shakespeare Festival, award winning restaurants and lively entertainment. Enjoy a stroll in the beautiful Lithia Park, raft the Rogue River, or stock up at the weekly farmers market. On weekends, you can visit the Lithia Artisans Market for locally made hand-crafted gifts.
Jacksonville is an charming small town wrapped in history and many authentic buildings remain. 'J' ville is home to the Britt Festival - a must for all music lovers. Throughout the summer season, top class acts grace the stage of the natural amphitheater. Bring a picnic and enjoy a memorable evening under the stars.
The valley is acquiring a reputation for fine wine and a tour of the vineyards here or in the neighboring Applegate Valley is highly recommended as many of the vineyards offer tasting rooms.
